The Wotsits lorry! Jud spotted it on the M74, and we met a few times during our trip South.
Just to show Cassie was supporting Comic Relief seen as it was Red Nose Day!!
There's Jud sticking both her thumbs up to show her support too.

Our only traffic jam was caused by this HUGE digger on a truck taking up 2 lanes of the motorway.
NB: (to Pastor 'K') this is just as we were passing by Shap. No ice cream vans in the snow today.

After driving through what the English call 'The North' the windscreen was manky.
It was at this point we realised Cassie had no screenwash, and I couldn't see out the windscreen. This is called 'using your initiative': pulling onto the hard shoulder & throwing some good ol' Scottish tap water Jud had in a bottle and splashing it over the windscreen. Worked a treat!

Jud shows her happiness at the realisation that we're 'almost there' according the AA's directions, even if we have no idea where we are.

However the pulling over to splash water was only a temporary, um, method. Stopping at services, um, somewhere in England, I bought some screenwash and diluted with water.
