A brief interlude about our South African telly experience

On our first day Jason joked about the TV that he could watch the security cameras from his room. I thought he was kidding. Until one day I was flicking through the channels (I think it was my first experience of the God channel, and some lassie was shouting about the gospel in Tennessee or something) and discovered what he meant...

...yes. That's all the security camera footage in the foyer and the car park at our hotel. Which you could watch from any room on the TV.

Ruky and I both got pictures, because we weren't sure you'd believe us.

On my first day with the Live Out Loud girls I noticed that everyone seemed to like doing strange dancing while singing 'Single Ladies' by Beyonce. On another day when we had the TV on while doing our mad evening turn around of trying to look slightly more presentable for going to Vineyard this advert came on. Both Ruky and I just sat in shock and then just burst into hysterical laughter. Both of us found on YouTube and sent each other links a few days after we got back from South Africa!
