Sanbonani! (that's Zulu for hello everyone...hope I've spelled it right though!!)
I just arrived back in London, and had to run with Joanna to the gate for her Glasgow flight which Jud had already boarded (Terminal 5 = nightmare)
Now I'm all alone for the next few hours while I wait for my flight back to Edinburgh.
Had a few hairy moments on the journey back - Both my roommate and I woke up with stomach upsets...I felt really ill on the flight to Jo'burg, but thankfully seemed to get better by the time we got on the plane to discover lots of SITC people were sitting behind me, and Joanna moved to sit beside me.
However, on the landing into LHR, Joanna and I worried as the guy next to her pulled out a sick bag.........but answer to prayer he didn't end up using it (phew!!)
I've re-pulled the tendons in my knee getting off the plane (and running round the airport trying to get thru endless security...)
Been an emotional 24 hours saying goodbyes to lots of people in Jo'burg airport, and hearing some news on the head of CC (the charity I sort of work for) that she's been given a few days to live.
I do have so many stories to tell though and have taken 100s of photos!!
Just want to say thanks to everyone who has given me so much encouragement in the last few months and been praying these last 2 weeks. Honestly, the last 2 weeks have NOT been on my strength...
...and I still have remnants of some of the bruises and the pharmacy I'm having to carry around with me to prove it!!
