...a prayer request.
I've been house sitting for friends for the last 12 days, but was home very briefly last Thursday to pick up some stuff for our church's youth weekend. I picked up a letter on my way out the door which turned out to be from the Passport Office in Durham informing me that my passport photos had been rejected.
Despite the fact I used the Post Office Check and Send service.
Hopefully a new set has arrived to the Durham Passport Office today, and hopefully they'll be accepted. And hopefully my new passport will arrive before July 7th.
Second of all...
I'm now on a different SITC action team. I'm going to be working with a different church, different project in a completely different part of Durban.
I came home to a stack of e-mails today, one of them an apologetic one from Soul Action explaining why they had to put me in a different team. I'm really excited because I had been so disappointed on the training day, but after chatting with a couple of friends decided to trust God that He had put me on the right team, and that I'd be where I could best serve. I was happy enough with what I'd been told I'd be doing, but was struggling to really be excited.
I'm really excited about what I've now been told I'll be doing!
Third of all...
I was due to get my 3rd vaccination yesterday morning but wasn't able to because I've got a cold after a crazily busy weekend.
I'm due to get another injection on Friday morning, so we're hoping I'll be well enough to get my 3rd vaccination at the same time. It does mean I'll be cutting it very close to our departure date to get my final vaccine though.
